always with the pictures!
I’ve been building up pictures for quite a while now. I decided I had better post them before it became more than a task and escalated into an ordeal. Becky and I have very busy the last few weekends with friends and family. I didn’t manage to get pictures at all of the events, but here are short blurbs about the ones I did take.
First, good news on the Avery front… He arrived home healthy and ready to wake his Mom up in the middle of the night for feedings on September 2nd. After a long, arduous stay at Cook’s Childrens Hospital, he is doing great and seems to have come through the whole ordeal no worse for wear. Needless to say the entire family is ecstatic. Let me once again extend my thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers! Click here to see the pictures when the entire McCoy clan dropped by for a visit to show off the newest member.
Vallalar and Santhi recently moved into their new home. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the house warming party. I have been lucky enough to see the new place though. It is beautiful! Let me be the first to welcome Vallalar and Santhi to the Mortgage Owner’s Club! Always good to have someone else to commiserate with about home expenses! As hard as it is to believe, Nguyen and Thao’s little girl, Rachel, turned 1 on August 29th. They held a party for her at Thanh Thanh Vietnamese Restaurant in Arlington. It was a wonderful time and the food was outstanding! Plus, it is always nice to get an opportunity to visit with close friends. Not to mention getting to see and play with the little ones! It is getting late, and it is going to be a long week at work. I’ll have to postpone more until later. And we all know that could be weeks!

Time for another Avery update… He is still doing very well and making progress day by day. Although, can a hospital recovery ever be quick enough? He is now up to 9 pounds. He developed an infection as a result of the central line, and the hospital staff are working out the antibiotic routine now. The doctors say he should make a full recovery from the infection once the antibiotics are complete.
Just a quick update on Avery… He is doing well and has been moved to the progressive care unit. One step closer to going home! They are going to begin introducing food soon and see how things progress. Click
